The chair develops relationships with other chairs, couches, lounges, chez lounges, on the threshold that inturn develop an internal dialectic in some cases a polemic discourse.



The chairs develop their own narratives, their own spatial relationship with the threshold, as in the creation of a row of four red vinyl covered chairs enacting out an externalised doctor's surgery waiting room with all its awkward unacknowledged glances of implied sickness



This thresholds space has implicit meanings that are transferred to it through association and memories of the doctors waiting rooms.
